EL6129 - A 19th century Indo-Persian sword, possibly Qajar, featuring a 26 inch wavy blade. Extensive carving/engraving, with brass and copper inlay details, including a large human figure with a weapon and shield. A similar figure engraved to the reverse side. Iron hilt with matching decorating, firmly attached to the blade without movement. Some pitting overall, in places quite deep on the extremities of the blade. An interesting and unusual piece.
