EL6524 - A good George V WW1 era British officer's sword by Wilkinson (numbered 46560 for some time between 1914 and 1917), with original scabbard, Sam Browne frog, sword knot and gloves. This sword has not been researched. In very good condition, featuring an undecorated plain blade (except for the ricasso) - a feature sometimes encountered on WW1 era Wilkinsons, presumably to save time and cost. An amazing little detail to have the gloves in a chamois bag, which were tied to the sword! Everything is solid, and with a buff up, this would make a fantastic dress sword for a modern officer. Top Wilkinson quality.
