Product Details

ELC1068 - A good quality (probably Pillin made) 1896 pattern cavalry officer's sword, George V WW1 era, retailed by quality outfitter Hamburger, Rogers & Co., of London. In overall good condition, though with an area of roughness and light pitting on one side of the blade. The blade has been service sharpened, presumably for WW1, and has a little bit of edge damage (pictured) to the fine edge. Some light restoration would lift this sword, and it's a good solid example of the pattern, which almost certainly saw action.
