An interesting Ottoman light cavalry sword (or perhaps mounted artillery), of WW1 era. Brass hilt and bright service sharpened blade (with a little edge damage to the fine edge - pictured), together with scabbard. I am not certain what pattern this is (related to the 1909?), and lacking the Turkish emblem I suppose that it might be from an area under Ottoman control, rather than actually Turkish per se. A decent sword that feels good in the hand, with some research potential. There is a tiny bit of movement in the guard, but overall the hilt is pretty solid.
