EL6281 - A George V WW1 era infantry officer's sword, 1897 pattern. Marked 'London Made' though with no further clues to the maker or retailer. The blade is very good, with mirror polish and clean etching. The tang and hilt have a slightly odd angle to them and are very slightly out of alignment with the edge - this is reflected in the price. The guard is in good shape with the plating mostly intact. The scabbard and frog rather dry and worn.
