EL6878 - A WW1 1908 pattern cavalry sword and scabbard. Made at the Enfield Small Arms Factory to the North of London in December 1915. Patina to hilt and scabbard, blade quite clean and bright with very deep and crisp markings. This would have been carried in WW1 from 1916-1918. The grip is unusually red in colour (not sure why) and the fitting of the hilt components has some gapping, but everything feels solid and tight.
