EL6501 - Victorian Volunteer Artillery Officer's Sword by Buckmaster/Thurkle, with matching scabbard. In good condition, with particularly nice 35 inch blade, with a lot of original mirror polish and frost etching. Buckmaster were a good outfitter, always seeming to procure good quality swords, and in this case the proof slug is that of Benjamin Thurkle, one of the best British makers. All solid and a lively blade in the hand.
