EL6961 - A mid-Victorian Thames River Police hanger or cutlass. The sword in good overall condition, but would benefit from a clean up. Complete with scabbard, but unfortunately the leather is torn (as pictured), but this could be repaired. The spring catch in good working order and all the parts of the scabbard are present. The guard and grip in good shape, with a tiny bit of movement in the guard, the blade mostly bright and would benefit from careful restoration. Quite a scarce sword.
