EL6889 - An 1846 pattern Royal Navy officer's sword with many issues! Sold as an economy/restoration piece. The guard moves due to the loss of the leather washer, the folding drop section has lost its spring and is floppy, the plain blade has been re-pointed, reducing the length by about half an inch (to 31 inches) and the scabbard leather is broken (pictured) and the locket peg for the dropping lock hole is missing. Despite all this, it's in quite bright condition and might make a nice wall piece, or serve as a restoration project. The grip and backpiece/pommel are in good condition.
