EL6382 - Late-Victorian Royal Engineers officer's sword, by Edward Thurkle. Overall in good condition, with some faults, including a bit of loss to the shagreen and the wood at the bottom of the grip. The brass of the hilt is all in nice shape, with lovely patina. The blade is mostly bright, with crisp etching, and some areas of darker patina and spots of corrosion. Everything is solid and tight in the hilt. Together with its scabbard.
