EL6915 - Late-Victorian Rifles officer's sword. No retailer marked on the ricasso and uncertain maker, probably a Solingen import. The blade bright, with quite good polish and clear etching, firm in the hilt with no movement. Blued hilt with patina, half-checkered backpiece. Good tight shagreen, a bit faded, with the thickest strand of the silver grip wire remaining in place. Everything firm and tight. No scabbard.
