EL6389 - Mid-Victorian (1864) London Rifle Brigade officer's piquet weight sword, by Wilkinson (numbered 12421), named to John Ellerton Pawson. The blade carries Pawson's crest, as well as his initials. The sword is in very good condition, with crisp and deep etching to the blade, firm in the hilt, and even patina to all. There is a very minor bit of loss to the shagreen, but otherwise the grip, with its silver wire, is in good condition.
