EL6447 - A scarce regimentally etched King's Royal Rifle Corps (KRRC) officer's sword. In good condition, with a mostly bright blade and mostly clear etching. The hilt and scabbard with dark patina over what I believe to have been an originally browned finish (common on Rifles swords). The grip in good condition and everything tight. This probably dates to c.1845-1865 and it seems to have been service sharpened at some point, so it is likely to have been on campaign with the KRRC in that period.
