EL6831 - A good Victorian infantry officer's sword by Wilkinson, numbered 22817 (dated 1878). The blade carried the officer's initials (I believe JDE). I have not researched this sword at all, nor obtained the Wilkinson proof book page. In good general condition, bright blade, hilt firm on the tang, with field service scabbard and matching sword knot. It would benefit from a clean up, and worth noting there there are a couple of nicks in the edge (pictured).
