EL6605 - A mid-Victorian infantry officer's sword, retailed by Hobson of London. In good condition overall, but in need of gentle cleaning. The blade is bright, but with tiny rust spots, which should polish off quite easily. The hilt in good condition and firm on the tang, with leather washer in place. The shagreen rather dry, but the grip basically good. Complete with scabbard. Blade not service sharpened. A good honest example of the pattern, which should clean up very well.
