EL6668 - A mid to late-Victorian infantry officer's sword made by Pillin and retailed by Hobson. Notable for having a plain un-etched blade (except for the retailer), so it's possible that this was for a sergeant rather than officer, but I am not certain with this one. Overall in need of some cleaning and light restoration. The blade mostly bright, but with some light patches of surface rust. The brass guard somewhat bent, but the hilt overall is in quite good condition and is firm on the tang. Complete with interesting field service scabbard.
