EL6249 - A good mid to late-Victorian infantry officer's sword, retailed by Sandilands and with a blade carrying Pillin's proof slug. Pillin were a top maker. The blade in nice bright polished condition with crisp, deep etching, firm in the hilt, though the guard has a tiny bit of wiggle. The shagreen in very good condition and the thickest strand of the brass wire remaining. With the steel full dress scabbard.
