EL6807 - An 1895 pattern infantry officer's sword by Mole. Dating to 1895-97, Mole were a top maker of the day and this is a good solid sword, all tight and firm. The blade is bright, but some of the etching has suffered from pitting and repolishing, though it is all structurally sound. The hilt plating is rather dull and could do with gentle polishing. The shagreen is good, but there is a bit of loss to the grip wire. Complete with original scabbard and sword knot.
