EL6866 - Victorian infantry officer's sword, 1845 pattern, with scabbard. The proof disc is worn, but seems to be Thurkle. The sword is in generally good condition, but would benefit from careful cleaning (this might reveal the retailer on the ricasso, which I cannot see if present at the moment). The blade is mostly bright with good etching, with some areas requiring cleaning. The blade is firm in the grip, but there is a little bit of movement in the brass guard, which itself is in good shape with finely cast details.
