EL6162 - A Continental (probably one of the German states) cavalry sword. Featuring a 4-bar French style guard with canted-forward German style pommel cap in brass. Leather covered wooden grip in need of repair. Bright clean straight blade, which has been service sharpened. The hilt is quite loose on the tang and the whole hilt assembly really needs dismantling and repairing. The components are good though and it is an interesting sword. No scabbard.
