EL6726 - US M1840 infantry sergeant's spadroon by Ames, dated 1864. In good condition generally, with clean and bright blade having a little corrosion requiring cleaning at the tip. The hilt in good condition and firm on the tang. Complete with original scabbard, though unfortunately this has lost the end of the leather and the attached chape.
