EL6698 - An unmarked (probably Solingen made) US cavalry officer's sword, featuring a hilt heavily inspired by the French M1822 officer's sword, and a plan blade based on the British 1845 pattern, with squared ricasso and spear point. Complete with matching scabbard, in need of a light clean overall, and the hilt has some movement on the tang. Leather covered wooden grip, with the wire in the recesses missing.
