EL6510 - A Superior quality US M1902 officers' sword, 'Defender' trade mark, sold by N. S. Meyer of New York, USA. I believe, from the proof mark, that this might have been made in England by Thurkle/Gaunt and exported to the USA around WW1. A lovely example of the pattern, with extensive and good quality etching to the blade, a thicker guard than many examples, all solid and tight, with matching scabbard. Still with the original sword knot.
