EL6539 - A very scarce sword, made presumably for an infantry officer of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in the style of an 1854 Pattern Foot Guards Sword by top maker Pillin. The blade features the emblems of the HAC, as well as what appears to be the heraldry of the individual officer, which I have not researched. A very high end and rare sword, with lots of research potential and not a model I have seen before. Top quality and in very good condition. The scabbard has lost some plating and gained some patina, but the sword itself is in excellent condition, with everything complete and firm.
