ELF97 - A good example of the 1908 pattern cavalry sword, by Wilkinson, with a fantastic custom leather cover to the steel scabbard. Period colouring to the steel bowl guard, good condition composition grip with famous thumb stop, firm on the tang. The blade with various stamps, including Wilkinson's name, the bend test mark and the Enfield Small Arms Factory approval stamp. Service sharpened for WW1, but dated to 1911, so a pre-war example. A really good example with a great scabbard.
