EL6115 - An officer's version of the 1796 pattern light cavalry sabre. With 50% of the twisted silver grip wire remaining and 95% of the leather grip covering, this sword is overall in quite good condition, though with very dark patina to the blade (which could be cleaned). The hilt is quite firm on the tang, with only a tiny bit of movement in the guard thanks to the thick leather washer still being in place. No scabbard. This sword is a good example of the type and should reward some gentle cleaning.
