EL6859 - An 1804 pattern Royal Navy cutlass from the Napoleonic Wars. Surface corrosion to all iron parts, with light pitting (no markings visible), but structurally sound - the blade still rock solid in the hilt. Cast iron grip and iron figure-8 guard. The blade with some edge nicks from use (combat or practice?!), a slight bend to the end of the tip. Would benefit from some careful restoration, but a good solid piece of this highly sought-after pattern.
