EL6217 - An attractive and tidy example of the 1805 pattern spadroon for Warrant Officers of the Royal Navy. The blade is very clean and bright, with deep engraving, showing national and decorative emblems. The copper alloy guard and backstrap are in good shape, with engraved fouled anchors to each side's langet. The shagreen grip covering has some loss, but is mostly there, as is the wire. The hilt is firm on the hilt, but there is a little bit of movement to the guard (as the leather washer has gone). No scabbard.
