ELC1062 - A mid-19th century Continental (perhaps Dutch or one of the German states) light cavalry sword, carrying the maker's stamp of Kirschbaum of Solingen (must date to before 1883). The overall style is clearly inspired by the British 1821 light cavalry officer's sword. Leather covered grip, patina to the steel overall, but generally good condition.
