EL6925 - A good Wilkinson infantry officer's sword, a late example of the 1845 pattern, numbered 29747 (dated to 1889). Unfortunately the Wilkinson record for this sword has no name on it, however there are initials etched on the blade, which seem to be TF or FT, so it might be possible to identify the officer with some deduction. The slightly curved blade, 33 inches long by 1 inch wide, is in bright condition with good crisp etching. The blade is rock solid in the hilt and there is a steel washer instead of the normal leather type. The grip with good grey shagreen and all the original grip wire. Complete in the plated steel full dress scabbard.
