EL6498 - A late-Victorian (probably dating to 1893 - thanks to James Elstob's studies of the serial numbers) light cavalry officer's sword, retailed by Nash and made by Pillin. In good condition, all solid (perhaps the tiniest bit of movement in the grip), with unusual steel scabbard that has had the rings removed and then covered in leather, to be worn with a later Sam Browne frog. Unusually long 36 inch blade.
