EL6473 - A Victorian Highland Field Officer's scroll hilted broadsword, by Edward Thurkle. Dating to around the 1870s or 1880s, this is a good clean example with bright blade and hilt, the plated steel guard featuring highly detailed and deep engraving. The shagreen and silver grip wire in good condition, all solid and complete in its plated claymore scabbard. A good example.
