EL6270 - A late-Victorian cavalry officer's sword, 1896 pattern (dated 1896-1901), by Pillin. The hilt firm on the tang, the shagreen all present, but the grip wire absent. The guard in nice shape, with patina. The blade clean and bright, with roughly 50% of bright mirror polish and frost etching remaining. With scabbard in good condition.
