EL6222 - A good example of the Italian M1833 horse artillery sabre, marked to maker S&K ( Schnitzler & Kirschbaum of Solingen) on the ricasso under the langet. The blade is in quite bright and clean condition, firm in the hilt. The hilt is in good shape with the leather on the grip intact (a couple of strands of the wire missing/loose). Please note that the pin which goes from the top of the backstrap into a hole in the guard is no longer there, but everything seems tight anyway. Comes together with its matching scabbard.
