EL6884 - An Italian cavalry officer's sword Model 1888. A very pleasing sword in the hand, with elaborate etching and worthy of restoration. This example is good quality, but was almost entirely covered in gold paint when it came to me. I have started the process of removing the paint and you can finish it! The blade is light and nimble, very flexible in the foible and with an attractive clipped-point. The hilt is in functionally sound condition, you just need to eradicate the rest of the gold paint! Complete with scabbard. All tight and solid (these hilts unscrew at the tang nut, so easy to restore). Priced as a restoration project.
