EL6513 - An Imperial Japanese infantry officer's sword, Type 19 kyu-gunto, featuring a silver/white metal family mon to the backpiece. Dating to around 1920-1940, this model of sword was still being carried in WW2, though had officially been replaced with the shingunto. Featuring the regulation French-inspired hilt, and a katana-esque blade of narrow proportions, with simulated hamon to the edge. With matching scabbard. The hilt is a bit loose.
