ELC1060 - A Victorian (c.1870-1890) Honourable Artillery Company officer's sword. The blade with fine, detailed etching and curiously sharpened on the back edge. The retailer's name clear. A few spots of pitting. The hilt complete and in overall good condition, though with some movement on the tang. The scabbard is associated, but not the correct type, being from a line infantry officer or sergeant's sword, though it fits quite well.
