EL6503 - A very good WW1 Era German M1889 Cavalry Officer or NCOs Sword by excellent maker Ernst Busch of Solingen. These were private purchase swords, but NCOs were allowed to buy their own swords as well as officers, and given that this has a wooden grip, I think it is likely this was an NCO's sword rather than an officer's. The condition is excellent and this is the best example I have had - everything on it is tight and clean, with original blued finishes. Everything is tight and solid. It sheathes well.
