EL6730 - A good 1796 pattern Infantry officer's spadroon, with a blade by Runkel and scabbard locket marked to Tatham. A good quality and good condition for the age example. The blade quite clean and bright, and in good shape, quite firm in the hilt, with a good tip and deep crisp engraving. The hilt all in good shape with traces of gilding and the silver wire grip intact. The leather of the scabbard is modern, but the two remaining scabbard mounts are original.
