EL6551 - A good condition 1908 pattern cavalry sword and scabbard. The paint seems to be a restoration of the original (these were often painted, usually either black, green or sand/khaki). This example is in really good condition, looking almost exactly like it would have done when new, except for some fading to the grip. The sword's markings show that it was made in January 1915 at the Enfield Small Arms Factory, where it was proved for service. With its scabbard, everything complete and solid.
