EL6223 - A French M1822 light cavalry type sabre, but probably made in Germany for a private contract (either French or another state using the same model of sword). The maker's mark is C.R or C.K and I expect this is a Solingen maker. The blade with double fullers, in good bright condition, firm in the grip, though the brass guard has a little bit of wiggle. The leather of the grip mostly intact, with some minor loss, the grip wire gone. Together with matching scabbard. This is a nice sword in generally good condition.
