EL6428 - George V (GRI for Indian Army) era 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, by Wilkinson. Numbered 55569 and sold in August 1918 to H. A. Weeks (recorded as acting Captain in the 2/48th Pioneers of the Indian Army in 1919), whose initials HAW are etched on the blade. The sword in excellent condition, all clean and bright, with a good grip and scabbard. All solid.
