EL6417 - A Napoleonic Wars George III era 1803 pattern infantry officer's sabre, by top maker Osborn (and marked 'Warranted'). A good example in good condition for the age, with quite a bright blade, featuring detailed engraving and the remnants of gilding. The shagreen grip and silver grip wire in good condition, as is the guard and back piece. The guard has lateral movement due to the loss of the leather washer, but the rest of the hilt is firm on the tang.
