EL6824 - An Edward VII era (1901-1910) 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword by top quality maker Pillin, sold by Thresher & Glenny of the Strand, London. A good quality pre-War example by Pillin, numbered, with detailed etching to the blade and quite minimal patina to the steel blade and hilt. The grip shagreen and wire in very good condition, and everything firm and tight. Complete in original field service scabbard.
