EL6567 - A good Edward VII 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, faintly etched to retailer Humphrey & Crook. All solid and complete, in good condition, with just one loose wire evident to the grip. The sword knot still in place. The blade is bright with clear etching and has been well service sharpened (presumably for the Boer War or WW1), complete in its field service scabbard. The blade on this example is a little wide and more hefty than usual, and they have gone to some effort to give it a sharp cutting edge in the foible.
