EL6754 - An unusual court sword, of French style, with mother of pearl grip plates. I am not sure what kind of official or courtier would have worn this, but it has lavish decoration and is perhaps, from the Lady Justice holding the scales, something to do with the legal system in Denmark. The single edged blade with etching and engraving, the gilt brass hilt and delicate grip. There is some movement in the hilt on the tang. The scabbard has lost the end drag, but the locket carries the maker's name of J. Herazcek, who was based in Copenhagen.
