EL6881 - A Continental cavalry sword. This could be the Italian M1860, but the same model of sword was also used by the Danish and I believe some German states and others, so I am not certain the origin of this examples. There is the remnants of the maker's mark on the ricasso of the blade, but I do not recognise it. Complete with scabbard, all in good condition, with leather covered grip and all solid. A big heavy sword.
