EL6426 - An unusually broad and imposing example of a George V era Highland infantry officer's broadsword (or claymore in contemporary parlance), with the good maker Pillin's proof slug. The etching somewhat worn, but still clear and the blade quite bright overall. The hilt in good condition, with the shagreen and grip wire well preserved, and the original liner still in place. Together with its field service scabbard, with the Highland chape button covered in leather.
