EL6438 - A very nice WW1 Royal Navy Master at Arms' sword (Warrant Officer), engraved on the folding guard drop as a presentation to F. C. (Frederick Charles) Drakeley, who was recorded as the Master at Arms on board H.M.S. ). Master at Arms swords are nowhere near as common as officer's swords, and to find one engraved to a specific person, who just happens to have been on a named ship during the Battle of Jutland is a rare treat. The sword itself is in good condition, with a bright blade and good etching, but the real to this sword is in the provenance.
