EL6354 - This is an outstanding and absolutely top quality WW1 era Royal Navy officer's sword, by Wilkinson, featuring their expensive 'solid guard' option, with a retaining clip going through the guard and no drop section as found on cheaper patterns. The blade is in superb condition, with just a few very small blemishes, with original mirror polish and frost etching. Shagreen clean and in great condition, wire good and the scabbard is also in good condition. Even the original sword knot is in place. It would be very hard to find a WW1 era Royal Navy officer's sword better than this, and dating to around 1914, it is unresearched.
